Ghostface Killah, Rosario Dawson, Chanel Iman and more celebs party for NY store openings
When it comes to style, we are all inspired by what we see; whether it be a well-dressed celebrity, a blow-your-mind catwalk presentation or even a fashionable passerby.
As fashion editors, we’re moved by all of the above, and then some. We’re exposed to under-the-radar labels; we get a first-hand look at collections months before they hit stores; we attend VIP events; we’re tapped into brands with chic-yet-cheap offerings and we shop — a lot.
To share our knowledge, FEMAIL brings you Style Swoon, a weekly series of the latest, greatest and on the verge. We hope this Friday series will serve as a buying guide and point of inspiration for all.
This week’s edition: star-studded store openings.

On Friday, October 15, streetwear brand Blue&Cream opened a brand new Upper East Side location.
The brand new 1,500 square foot location focuses on the shopping”experience” with every detail from smell to lighting, exclusive products, one-on-one appointments and curated DJ mixes.
‘After 18 years of finding our niche as the place to see and be seen in the Hamptons and Bowery, we are excited to take over Madison Avenue,’ said Blue&Cream Founder Jeff Goldstein.
‘This location will sort of act like a Private Client Studio focusing on the Experience for our loyalists.’
He added: ‘Coming out of isolation and the pandemic, we are seeking the in-store retail experience more than ever.
‘It’s not just about buying clothes, it’s about providing an environment for our clients to discover — meeting new people, getting style advice from our Specialists, whatever it may be.’
Catering to the Upper East Side residence, the new locale offers a curated assortment of vintage, ready-to-wear and designer for men, women and children
